We are taking a short break for restorations...

With the wet season approaching here in Northern California, we are preparing for the rains with some much needed repairs to the historical building in which our humble little store resides. As a result we will be closing the store for the next couple of weeks.

We will be closed from Monday the 28th October through to Friday the 9th October while the repairs are completed.

For those of you who do not know the history of Duncans Mills, the village was established in the late 1800s, to house the workers and families for the lumber mill that was built across the highway on the banks of the Russian River. The village was aquired in the 1970s by the present owners, who lovingly restored the village and original railway station that serviced it, to its former Victorian glory. Harlequin resides in one of the original buildings - the country store - which was built in 1887 and maintains much of its original character.

We are very grateful to our local and visiting clientele, and do apologize for any inconvenience our being closed for this period may cause. However, please know that we will reopen our doors on Saturday the 10th of October, with the store stocked with a beautiful collection of curated vintage and designer items for Fall and Winter.

It will be worth the wait, I promise! ❤️
